The Dissident Heretic immediately stands out with its dark, oily wrapper and solid construction. It feels perfectly packed with an ideal amount of firmness. Pre-light aromas reveal dark chocolate, cedar, earth, and black pepper, while the cold draw offers notes of molasses and baking spices with just the right resistance.

Smoking Experience

• First Third – The cigar opens with rich dark chocolate and cedar, quickly followed by black pepper that provides plenty of character without becoming overpowering. Thick, creamy smoke production and excellent balance make for an outstanding start.

• Second Third – Molasses sweetness begins to emerge, complementing the cocoa and earthy core beautifully. The cigar remains full of flavour with excellent complexity and a slow, even burn. A single relight is needed midway through the smoke, but it has little impact on the overall flavour profile.

• Final Third – The body increases slightly while maintaining impressive balance. Cedar, chocolate, pepper, and molasses continue to work harmoniously, finishing with plenty of richness and depth. The cigar remains enjoyable until the nub.
