I’m Ray Prodanov - a passionate Cigar Sommelier, and Spirits Specialist with nearly a decade of experience in the world of premium cigars, fine spirits, and luxury hospitality. My journey has taken me across Europe and beyond, representing leading brands and crafting unforgettable experiences for enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and newcomers alike.
As a fully certified Cigar Sommelier and Sensory Expert, I bring deep knowledge of tobacco and spirits, with a particular focus on the art of pairing. Alongside this, I’ve developed a specialist appreciation for tea, adding another dimension to the experiences I create. Over the years, I’ve hosted hundreds of curated events - from intimate masterclasses to large-scale showcases – always with one goal in mind: to connect people through flavour, culture, and storytelling.
I’ve also led the experiential direction of the UK’s largest luxury cigar retailer, designing bespoke tastings, training hospitality professionals, and consulting on humidor design and retail presentation.
Whether I’m presenting at an international expo, leading a private tasting, or guiding guests through the subtleties of a perfectly balanced pairing, my mission is the same: to elevate appreciation, spark curiosity, and create memorable moments that celebrate the culture of cigars, spirits, and tea.
